The UP DGME will conduct counseling for UP BDS Admission 2024, which is expected to start on July 2, 2024, through online mode only. Candidates who wish to participate in the UP BDS counseling in 2024 will have to register themselves on the official website of UPNEET counseling. The seats that are left vacant after the first round of counseling for UP BDS 2024 will be filled during the second round.

UP BDS Admission 2024: Process

BDS admission in Uttar Pradesh is expected to start in the 2nd week of July 2024, on the basis of the NEET UG Exam 2024. Only NEET UG Exam 2024-qualifying candidates are eligible for admission in Uttar Pradesh. After the NEET MBBS 2024 result is out, the Uttar Pradesh government will conduct online counseling for admission in the MBBS course for Session 2024. If any person claims direct admission, please inform the counseling authority.

Registration: – The counseling authority publish the NEET 2021 merit list for qualified candidates. Candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process as per the prepared merit list. Candidates have to register on the website and submit the registration fee through internet banking.

Choice Filling: Candidates can fill online choices by using their registration number and transaction ID. Candidates have to fill their choices as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they can.

Allotment Result: Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank and their choices of preference. Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the website. Candidates can also download their allotment letter to report the allotted college for admission.

Reporting to Allotted College:

The candidates are advised to report to the allotted institution with seat allotment letter before the last date of admission. The seats will be considered as confirmed only after the successful payment of the admission fee and verification of documents.

UP BDS Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The age limit for all the candidates applying for the BDS course in Uttar Pradesh must have completed the age of 17 years before or on December 20, 2024.

The upper age limit is 25 years old as on December 2024.

The reserved category is getting relaxation of 5 years of the upper age limit.

The candidates should have cleared the 12th grade exam conducted by CBSE, the Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi with the required subjects such as physics, Chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English from any recognized school.

candidate should have obtained the minimum 50% marks and 40% marks is required for reserved category candidates.

Candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination of National Institute of Open Schooling will be eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% Delhi Quota.

It is necessary for the candidates to clear the NEET UG 2024 examination conducted by NTA.

Admission Process

The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their ranks/marks obtained in the NEET 2024 entrance test.

Candidates have to register on the counseling website to participate in the counseling.

Candidates have to present in the counseling venue on a given date and time. There, they will be permitted to fill the college preferences.

As per the filled choices, candidate’s rank and availability of seats in the participating colleges, the seats will be allotted to the candidates.
